Aurora is a residential and commercial development at 3 Kintail Road, Applecross. The 27-storey building brings apartments together with commercial spaces.

PROJECT REQUIREMENTS
Coordinating the building interfaces
Balcony edges, bathroom glazing and interior finishes bring different interfaces together across a residential tower. Consideration of dimensions, finishes and coordination with adjoining work is valuable when planning similar packages.
Aurora forms the second stage of Finbar’s Applecross precinct, with 118 apartments and three ground-floor commercial lots. Hanssen was the builder and SS Chang the architect.
